Lore.
Once upon a time there was a powerful wizard. Though he gained power and knowledge over the years, he was slowly becoming older and older… Now, as he senses his inevitable death he recalled a very old book mentioning a mysterious, yet dangerous land. It is believed that somewhere in that land lays a gem that grants it's owner immortality. The treasure attracted many, but no one has ever returned from the Land of the Rifts, as it’s overrun by fearsome monsters. The mysterious rifts that are appearing and disappearing out of nowhere, don’t influence native creatures but allegedly they can change the size of any brave soul coming to this land. Don’t waste time, the wizard needs your help.
